I was raised in Nottingham, where I received a comprehensive school education and participated in the county music service. My instrumental training was conducted at Trinity Music College. I currently serve as the Deputy Head Music Service, Head of Ensembles, and Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Music Service in Birmingham.
In 2021, I was honoured with the inaugural “Gold Star” award from Music and Drama for the considerable reach and impact of my work during the pandemic.
