Project Youtube has been a labour of love for me. I started this project to help me alleviate my own practice boredom. 10 years ago I found that I was making more progress with my playing if I used backing tracks. These tracks enabled me to really lock into a tonal centre but kept me in time. I could have used drones and a metronome but the backing tracks were the key to unlocking the next stage in my playing.
